Post Office

Dear Babe,
Hey! How are you? I hope you are doing well.
I don’t know what am I thinking why I am writing you a letter. Anyway, my happiest moment was what just happened that Friday night at the grassland wherein the eclipse shade is warming us. We were like doves flying freely in the air. We were chasing the moment as if we never like to untie our knots and like we don’t want to see the sun to shine us. But what happened to us now?
I owned you that night, the lips and body I dreamt of. Yes, it’s over and nothing can take that back anymore. Your killer smile and attracting body still enlightens my mind and soul to like you. I, not seeing you in the whole week is living like jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces, it’s incomplete. You cannot even paint my face in the canvass once you are not there but you know I resist my feeling.
For three years that we are in this relationship, it was just that night that we did it and I had been waiting for that for too long and I want that to happen again. Yet, for the past days I feel like you didn’t miss me. Many times I passed by your door but you did not even care to open your that door when I knock and you don’t even reply my emails. Is this because you feel embarrassed of what happened that night? Or you just considered our relationship just like a part time job that if you want it, you will just schedule it? Or did you love me or just used me?
You know, I poured out everything that I have. I did my very best to show you my care and love. When you cannot do your task, I’ve been there to do it. When you feel cold, I let you use my jacket. Damn, wherever you are, I am always there. You know how I am strict with my promises but I think it would end now.
I don’t like ending our relationship without formal ending. I hope that you will find someone who will love you as how I did or twice. Don’t think of me because I will leave my life embodying all the broken and died promises that we made after the moon.

                                                                                                            Yours truly,

                                                                                                            Stultified Hames

Who is who?

Dear James,
“ Babalush ekeklabushae, shalalabushae halaka harakarakanggara barakasahabushabusha.” Well, I just want to say “Hello, how are you there?” I hope that you are doing fine there in earth. Master Romeo here once said to us that we have replicates there in your place, so I wrote you a letter to know all about you. Oh, by the way, we are from “Planet Barbara”.
For many attempts, it is just now that I finished this letter. It is because I was so busy lately. My wife just bore our fifth child and we named it “James” too. You know, we are also experiencing rainy season and it is time for us to plant grasses and weeds for daily food.
Everything that we do are all rushed that’s why at the age of sixteen, I married a seventeen girl for me to have someone who can help me with all the works in the field. I am living now with three beautiful ladies and two boys. The four children of mine are already studying in the science laboratory school. They are experimenting and inventing many technologies here.
Life here is so magical, many miracle and unexplainable incidents are happening. Imagine, men marrying other men and worse, women too. It’s so awkward right? One more thing, a brother can marry his own sister.
The whole community here lives in just a single palace. We ate all together at the same time, men and women of the same ages have their scheduled time to take a bath. Oldies also have the time to be fed if they cannot, and even have their time to play “candy crush” at the same level. From time to time, though it’s subtle, our livelihood is changing. Master Romeo, our ancestor, had built this society of reflection of life there on earth, though not all, so once you will change your way of living there, ours will be affected too.
James, I will end my letter here and I am willing to wait also for your reply describing your life there.
                                                                                                                        Your new friend,

                                                                                                                        Stultified Hames

The Forgotten Past

Dear James Teen,
I wrote a letter to remind you of your younger days. Nine or ten years had passed but you simply just left me here. You didn’t even care to write me a letter or even pass by the children’s park to see me. Did you not miss me?
Anyway, I want you to reminisce of these things and I know that you will feel how nostalgic it is. Do you remember how quarrelsome you are before? The time when Samuel teased you because of your big ears? You punched hardly his face and let him go home crying with bleeding nose. It never ends there right? The next day he and his friends cornered you and he punched your face too, “ awhhh that hurts”. But I bet, by now you are friend right? Say “hi” to him when you see him.
Anyways, let’s have other talks. When you are playing, you join with other boys and played their stuffs like text cards, tops, and many more, oppsss, but I remember you’re playing rubber bands too. Yes, you join with girls too, you even play high jump with rubber rope but it’s not only you who join them, other boys too. And because you’re playing with boys, you tried drinking alcohol in the mountains with other teenagers too, hahahha. Well, did I reveal your secret? Don’t worry mother won’t know it though.
Oh yeah, I remember it, the only boy in class who is marching in the stage to hung up some gold or silver or bronze. Well, I hope you are doing well in your studies. By the way, I remember you wanted to be a lawyer someday and I hope you are taking a degree that will help you become one. But, you can be a teacher too. You always play the role of a “teacher” when you are playing with other boys in our “patakder”.
You know James, I know many things are bothering you. I played an important role in molding you, in developing what you are today. Visit the place where you met me, the church, the mountains, the river, the street and even the school, bring your friend and talk about us.
I will end it this time and I hope that you will not forget me.
                                                                                                Yours truly,

                                                                                                Stutified Hames
